Slideworkshop is 15 small tools for the jobs that come up when you are building a presentation and the app you are using will not do the thing you need.

There is one rule behind all of them: your files stay on your computer. A .pptx is a ZIP archive full of XML, a PDF renders perfectly well client-side, and a canvas can generate an image without help. None of that needs a server, so none of these tools use one. Nothing you drop in is uploaded, logged or stored — which matters, because the decks people need to compress and convert are usually the confidential ones.

The practical trade is that everything runs at the speed of your own machine, and very large files depend on how much memory your browser will give the tab. That seems a fair price for not handing a board pack to a stranger.

Something not working?

Presentation formats are full of edge cases, and a deck built by a template vendor in 2011 can do things nothing else does. If a tool mangles your file or a menu path no longer matches what you see on screen, say so at hello@slideworkshop.com — a failing example is worth more than a description.

Slideworkshop is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Google, Microsoft or Apple. Google Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote are their respective owners’ trademarks, used here only to say which app a tool works with.
